The Unveiling Ceremony

October 22nd 2005 saw the Unveiling Ceremony of the newly rastored statue of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I in Cannizaro Park, Wimbledon. The unveiling ceremony was organised by the friends of the Park and was attended by the descendants of the Hilda Seligman who sculpted the bust. 
The ceremony was also attended by His Majesty's great granddaughter Tsige-Mariam Asrate and great great grandson Alex Asrate-Denyer and numerous Rastafari bredrens and sistrens from all over London and nearby as well as some local people. See a report from the friends of the park here.
After much reasoning I&I yant Ises and a blessed time was had by all.
