Studio One recording artist and reggae legend, Anthony Johnson, will be performing the Great Reggae Songbook live on the 23rd June.
Accompanied by a 6 piece band, this a rare chance to hear tracks from Dennis Brown, The Wailers, Owen Grey, Marcia Griffiths and Johnny Osbourne, as well Anthony’s own material, including the classic Gunshot.
Johnson, who was born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1957, has played and recorded with luminaries such as Lee Scratch Perry, Jah Thomas, Prince Jammy and Dillinger. Having resided in London since the late 80’s, the Total Refreshment Centre are honoured to be hosting a living legend for what is sure to be a night to remember.
