On Thursday, 19 April, Dub Me Always presents a record release party featuring reggae band The Majestic, with support from host DJ David Katz.
Roots rock reggae band The Majestic was formed by lead vocalist Faada Ras in the early 1980s, supporting Misty in Roots, Aswad and the Mighty Diamonds and opening for Hawkwind at Stonehenge. Then, in 2010, after a chance meeting between Faada and legendary guitarist Jimmy Page, the band was revived. The current line-up features vocalist Baba Ras, longstanding bassist Tony Alli, drummer Sam Ferrara, guitarist Eddie Mulvey and rhythm guitarist Gabriel Swinton Stott of Pillars of Dub. Veterans of numerous festival and club gigs, The Majestic launch their latest single tonight, with support on the decks from DJ David Katz (Dub Me Always).
