Ryszard Kapuściński’s Book full of lies “The Emperor” is presently being relaunched as a theatre production from the start of September at the Young Vic in the West End of London
Ryszard Kapuściński was a Polish writer who became well known for fiction books regarding Africa and Latin America presented as historical fact, thought to be most likely allegoric references to his own communist Poland of the time. His reporting has since be labelled “literary colonialism”.
