The monthly Rebel Hop Free Music event is part of a series of Saturday music sessions at the Goodness Brewing Company in Wood Green/Alexandra Palace – an exciting new venue with a fantastic INDOOR DANCING SPACE.
CHRISTMAS SPECIAL! Hosts Angus and Sherrine will celebrate their birthdays this month so we have a very special line up to end the year… The December Hop will feature DJ and author David Katz (Dub Me Always), Albion HiFi Sound System DJs plus special guests, powered by Albion HiFi Sound System.
Spend the evening listening to an all vinyl selection of uplifting reggae, rocksteady, ska, afrobeat, soul and funk – as you enjoy a choice of flavoursome craft beers and handmade pizzas. Also remember this is family-friendly event – all welcome!

DAVID KATZ is an author, music journalist, photographer, A&R consultant, disc jockey and reggae historian, raised in the US but long resident in Britain. Katz is author of People Funny Boy: The Genius of Lee “Scratch” Perry; Solid Foundation: An Oral History of Reggae; and Caribbean Lives: Jimmy Cliff.
ALBION HIFI SOUND is an historic sound system, restored by a team of volunteers, who see themselves as its custodians, with a view for it to be shared with the community and used to celebrate sound system culture with guest DJ’s and engineers.
The event is completely free but the bar is CARD ONLY.
