It is with great excitement and anticipation that we make this FINAL APPEAL for all persons interested in attending or being a part of The Bahamas National Rastafari Gathering May 22nd -28th, 2006 to please contact our Secretariat as soon as possible. We are in the final stages of negotiations with our major sponsors and to assure that proper funding is available, it is would of great importance that we submit a final count of all international delegates and participants. We cannot express the urgency of this message.
Open Invitations are extended to the following:
International Delegates: Country Representatives, Rasta Organization/Houses Representatives, Ancients & Elders.
Vendors: Persons wishing to sell their crafts, products, music, books, etc. at a One-Day Public Trade Show/Fair.
Musicians: Artists, Bands, Dub Poets, etc, who wish to perform in the closing ceremony Open-Air Public Concert.
Presenters: Speakers, Hosts, and Workshops Presenters (please submit proposals a.s.a.p. if you haven’t been asked already) Over the next few weeks as we draw closer to commencement of this momentous week of celebrations and groundations, the first of its kind for The Bahamas with its large Rasta population, more and more information concerning the Gathering will become available. Workshop presenters, Keynote Speakers, Topics and Forums, Reggae Bands, Trade Show Vendors, Performing Artists, Policy Making Decisions, Draft Agreements, Courtesy Calls and all relevant information will be made public.
