Greetings and Rastafari Blessings 241 days, 10 hours, 27 minutes and 50 seconds before the Ethiopian Millennium

 

In the report, IRIE trod to the City of the Great Whore , I wrote:

The next morning I forwarded from the Nyahbinghi in Brooklyn up to Harlem, where I sighted up Ras Everton Mc Pherson, Founder and Chairman of the Ethiopian National Front (ENF-- see http://members.tripod.com/~rastaology/index.html ). Towards the end of 1982, there was a resurgence of the Youth Black Faith: Order of the Nyahbinghi, under the banner "Ivine Precepts and History: ITHIOPIA FIRST, REPATRIATION NOW". The YBF went on an educational drive from its base in Jamaica, launching a series of circulars internationally among the various Rasta communities from 1983 to 1986. Ras McPherson was the Editor of this YBF International Journal. Since then, Ras McPherson has produced a detailed and exhaustive exposition of the insistent themes and modal features contained in the various Rastafari political manifestos over this period up to the present. [see Rastaology http://members.tripod.com/~rastaology/rastaology.html  and http://members.tripod.com/~rastaology/Core.html ]. Using his vast published reference materials, Ras McPherson reasoned with I on the political realities of Ethiopia and Rastafari, emphasizing the coming relations between Rastafari in Shashemane and the Oromo, who are the largest ethnic group in the area, the Royalist component of the Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated (EWF) that was removed from the EWF Constitution Iriginal preamble, the issue of Restoration and the role of the IEWF, and the need to promote Istorians and archivists who are within the Rastafari movement, not outside of it. I did not have nearly enough time to get even a sufficient overview of all of the crucial documentation contained in Ras McPherson's works, and I look forward to a longer return visit.

At the establishment of the Rastafari International Co-ordinating Working Committee (RICWC) arising out of the National Assembly which had been called (among other considerations) in response to the organizational challenge in November 1990, Ras E. S. P. Mc Pherson was named Ilect of Throne of the RICWC.

As the Coordinator of the Issembly for Rastafari Iniversal Education (IRIE), an educational ministry serving the Rastafari Family Worldwide, I highly recommend that all Rastafari sons and dawtas review the ENF 2006 Catalogue below and obtain the materials without which no Rastafari Education is complete.
