Word Sound & Power Collective Elders Support

The Word Sound Power Collective started as a group to reason about Rastafari and has grown into a collective livicated to supporting Rastafari Elders.

Rastafari Elders have suffered great trials and tribulations. All because they love Haile Selassie I. They were beaten and had their locks dashed off because they raised the Ethiopian flag high. They still continue to be oppressed for their faith.

The WSPC chooses an Elder to support and ones and ones make paypal donations until the goal is reached, usually $200(us). Once the goal is reached the strength is forwarded to the choosen Elder.

I can personally testify to the strength that these works have been for Rastafari Elders. Many Elders have benefited from these works. It's a great joy to know that ones around the world are rallying around them.

Please check the new WSPC profile page for more information and to see how you can help

Give thanks!

"Let us set our goals too high; let us demand more of ourselves than we believe we possess. The man who sets his goals too low and who accepts too little as enough, squanders the talents and abilities with which Almighty God and nature have endowed him." H.I.M. Haile Selassie I (throne speech excerpt, 1963)

Since the African Union failed to implement a United States of Africa agenda in Ghana last july, an aligned millennium / core-nation mystique, calls for intensified lobbying from Pan-Afrikanists at home and abroad, in a manner designed to achieve continental unification.

It is ironic that, while the west seeks to consolidate it's grip on the planet, there would be AfriKans in power who, probably lured by a pound of dollars, adopt a "gradualist" approach toward continental integration. I dare to say that such 2 speed (slow-stop) lethargic position is folly. It amounts to accepting that 4/5 of a person is progress amidst a de facto 3/5 exclusionary system.

The industrialized nations are to maintain much leverage as long as they continue to negotiate separately with dozens of fractured nations resembling the mythical Hydra (see Africa's heads of states). Many of those neo-colonial apologists are positioned to extend huge concessions to ravaging multinational corporations at the expense of a continent and it's people held hostage.

If, according to the U.N.'s 2001 declaration at Durban, which holds that slavery is a crime against humanity, how can an AfriKan "leader", in his/her right mind, not resist refined thuggery?, a system that continues to wreak havoc on indigenous cultures everywhere in addition to massive environmental degradation.

Today is late, time is now to advance the United States of AfriKa initiative as a front burning issue. One aim, One destiny, One defensive force & currency would appropriately channel the motherland's wealth into developing her people and put domestic and international adventurism in check. Reparations, repatriation, debt cancellation, citizenship rights are all achievable under one unswerving banner of justice, power and respect.
