Glory to the Most High Haile Selassie I. May the infinitely gracious
Irit of the Iniverse extend abundant mercy and Ivine guidance to the
African race in InI quest for total liberation, prosperity and security.
My blessed family, history and prevailing circumstances demand of InI
energetic urgency, in addressing the African race crisis. Today InI must
celebrate with noble esteem the honourable Marcus Garvey and all the
other distinguished family members who have made their distinct
contribution to InI racial history.
There are those of InI that reject the word Negro being used to
identify InI phenotype and prefer the word African instead. Please be
reminded that both words were ascribed to InI by the European enslavers.
They formally use both words interchangeably. Previously, the word
African referred specifically to the curly hair inhabitants of the
continental land mass they named Africa. Today, the word African,
popularly identifies all races now residing in Africa. Africa and
African have become a politico-geographic terminology devoid of racial
essence. This reality has effectively compounded InI racial crisis and
serves to minimize, if not to eliminate InI commonality for global race
Inity.
For what it is worth, to my awareness, the word Negro, is the only
word in the English vocabulary which has not yet been co-opted or
confiscated by other races and remains exclusively applicable to InI
phenotype.
Because the European enslavement and colonization of InI people did
not permit InI to retain any word of global collective identity from InI
ancestral languages, InI have been at the mercy of their disuniting
classifications.
In addressing the African race crisis, I would love InI to Iverstand
and Ipprecilove the fact that, as much as Ras Tafarianity is of
African/Negro origin, in content, context, essence and substance, it is
of fundamental Imanity. Ras Tafarianity is the Most High’s redemptive
gift to all mankind.
Despite the European names-giving confusion, biologically and
anthropologically InI race remain intact and distinguishable. With or
without accepted common names, InI are visibly identical all over the
earth. The solution to InI race crisis commences with self reparation.
To profoundly love InI selves as a distinct and unique branch of the
human family, constitutes step one in the critical process of collective
race restoration. It follows that InI will begin to realize InI self
beauty, self esteem and self confidence.
There are basically two branches of the human family, the curly
haired and the straight haired branches. The European, Chinese and
Indians of all sorts form the straight hair branch. The African Negro is
the singular curly haired branch. It is therefore a genetic abomination
and primary evidence of self hatred when InI sisters and brothers
straighten their hair chemically or otherwise. This truth must become a
common treasure in InI peoples’ education.
As the fundamental objectives of Ras Tafari are (1) rule of
international morality (2) world citizenship and (3) lasting peace, all
Ras Tafari entities are duty bound to assist meaningfully, the African
Negro liberation process.
As politics is the ultimate decider of human communal affairs, InI
must ensure that patriotic sisters and brothers who are committed first
and foremost to African Negro racial sovereignty, prosperity and
security are ascended to the seats of political authority. I am
confident that with political sovereignty, economic prosperity,
industrial sciences and technologies and social civility, InI will
resolutely address the African Negro race crisis.
