Suffering the consequence of political negligence

Hail family. Ras Tafari love. The question of politics is still being ignored by InI international family. The few ingels who are trying to highlight the political question and engage InI collective consideration are being scoffed at and ostracized. It seems most of InI academically educated and intellectual ingels are withholding their energies from InI political awareness and advancement. I think this is so, because of inoculation by erroneous doctrines of misguided elders and by their appeasement of inherited traditions.

InI non-realization of repatriation, reparation liberation and economic self sufficiency at this time, are all consequence of InI political negligence. How can any well thinking Rasta deny or ignore InI Inherent political responsibilities? The enslavement of the African family and subsequent liberation efforts is fundamentally a political affair. The chants of mashing down Babylon and let iquality and justice rule the Earth is political to the core. Lasting peace, world citizenship and the rule of international morality is the political destiny of humanity, prescribed by H.I.M. Haile Selassie I.The persecution of InI for Ganja, with assaults, fines and incarceration is a political matter. The taxation of InI land and water is an issue of politics. The discrimination of InI in employment, health and education is political.

It not possible to be a none- political element within society. As long as InI are affected by the laws and administration of society InI are political objects. As long as InI refuse to mobilize and act as a political collective, InI will remain a subservient sector of society. Politics is in fact the art and science of government.

Ingels who are acquainted with the bible, do iverstand that from Genesis to Revelation is all about societies, laws and governance. For how much longer will the various groups and masses of InI continue deny existing realities? H.I.M. Haile Selassie I reminded InI that religion is personal but all must relate to the state. I lovefully suggest that InI ultimate salvation cannot be found in churchical rituals and Sabbath observance. InI ultimate salvation is a conscious levity of political morality and scientific productivity.

It is written in the bible that when the wicked rules, violence walk on every side. I am of the firm conviction that with all InI repatriation rhetoric, proposals and social events, until InI becomes politically educated and active, InI will continue to suffer the consequences of political negligence.

Time to acknowledge the Nyah Binghi Priestesses

Blessed love ingel. I pray the I, please consider this itation most ilegently. Why have the Nyah Binghi idrens denied the existing priesthood of woman? The introductory documentation of Nyah Binghi to the Jamaican rastas indicated a well organized movement with a woman as its chief spiritual and temporal leader. The documentation also indicated that the Nyah Binghi Order was pursuing a political objective of decolonization. By what trick of misrepresentation and detraction have InI been denying and refusing to acknowledge and cooperate with the Nyah Binghi Priestess vibration and political agenda? I suggest that the problem lay with the Eurocentric misrepresentation and misinterpretations of biblical writings embodied in their mal-concept of patriarchy; a concept InI inherited through colonial impositions.

From biblical perspective, the root of human conflict and contradiction is between man and woman. Mr. Adam of the genesis refused to take responsibility for his own actions, blamed Mrs. Eve for her suggestions. She likewise being irresponsible; blamed a fictitious devil. Blames and counter blames have become institutionalized to the detriment of good man woman relationship. Nyah Binghi sons and daughters will be doing a disservice to InI family and humanity should InI continue to perpetuate this imbalance and weakening contradiction in man/woman relationship. It takes an interacting balance between man and woman to procreate and progress humanity.

InI must iverstand that Nyah Binghi will decline in prominence and relevance if InI do not elevate InI female energy to its balancing churchical status. The Nyah Binghi is now proclaiming the join godhead of the Emperor and Empress. Why not also High Priest and High Priestess? Let’s get real

Big big ispect to the Jamaica Nyah Binghi house, for taking a giant step in the right direction, by ilecting a worthy sister/mother as the co-chair person of the Nyah Binghi Administrative Council. InI ought to congratulate sister Ifia and give her all the support InI possibly can. I am sure that with sister Ifia being the co-ilect of throne, InI will begin to address more relevant matters with a sense of urgency and dignity. I pray that brothers. who are sick with the poison of Eurocentric patriarchy, do not seek to sabotage and be uncooperative with progressive efforts.

Nyah Binghi is a family participatory vibration with no room for gender discrimination in its productive, administrative and ritualistic affairs. I am very sure InI have sisters who are as priestly, prophetic, musical, creative and administratively competent as InI distinguished brothers. Don’t the I think its time to acknowledge the Nyah Binghi Priestesses? I do.

Time for Greater Involvement of InI Youths

Haile Selassie I be praised. Praise be to the Blessed Mother Empress Menen. Bless InI parents and InI the children.

Hail up Ivine family. Ras Tafari love. Ras Tafari calls the youths because the youths are the continuity of civilization. When I reflect on InI tradition for the past three decades, I am forced to acknowledge a very alarming disparity. InI have been neglecting the energies, skills, talents and education of InI youths. InI youths are been denied the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to InI collective development. The Ras Tafari community is the only group I observe that is overwhelmingly guilty of this abnormalcy.

In this dispensation, the youths are the spirits of modernity. Please remember that the national political ideology of Haile Sellassie I is "Modern Ethiopianism." Haile Sellassie I also declared that "The youths have come of age to share in the responsibilities of government." The behaviour of Ras Tafari elders to youths over the past 30 years have only served to widen the generation gap and isolate InI youths who are the strength and future of InI nation. The Ras Tafari community needs fresh soldiers on the front line. InI need solid soldiers with vigour, commitment and vision. InI need young soldiers with confidence, resoluteness and integrity. InI must view the trod like a relay race. The baton is passed from one generation to the other. The more systematic the baton is passed the more efficient and competitive will the team be.

I give thanks to all Brothers and sisters who are actively seeking the ifficial involvement of youths in InI communal affairs. Special ises to Ras Selas of Panama Ras Tafari Alliance and Ras Tuzah of Solidarity Foundation for their efforts to actively involve the younger generation in their respective ventures.

At this juncture of InI history, I think Ras Tafari youths need to organize them selves within the community and assert their influence in contributing to the positive advancement of InI collective interest. Ras Tafari young people must act resolutely in their interest and the interest of their posterities. I am convinced that by acting in the interest of their future security, the developmental initiatives and pursuits of InI youths will give solace and monumental benefits to the elders of InI faith. I think the best thing the elders can do for the faith at this time is to summoned the youth leader, bless them and put their hopes in the intelligence, confidence and strength of InI youths; remembering that they were once young ingels filled with vibrant energies and spreading the flames of Ras Tafari over hills and valleys.

Where are InI Ras Tafari youths in sports, scholarships and other integral areas of nationhood? The building of the nation, resistance on the battlefield, ultimate security and prosperity are dependent on the vibrant, courageous and resolute energies of InI youths. The elders can always give guiding council because elders have the experience of youth.

I pray that InI youths will let cross opinions and contrary sentiments go to the wind and build on InI common interest as it is time for greater involvement of InI youths.

Let's Get Practical

Glory to life, the mystically practical energy of elements existing the Iniverse.

I am profoundly grateful to every Ingel who has taken the time and energy to consider my reasonings to InI family. I convey special thanks to all Ingels who have sent comments and expanded enlightenment.

In inviting InI practicality as it relates to InI collective welfare, kindly indulge my comments on a number of pertinent issues confronting InI.

[1] Leading personalities

Human social, political, and economic affairs depend on leading personalities. Ideas and developmental actions are the exclusive products of personal energies. Because at birth human beings cannot provide for self nor are in full control of their faculties, there is an inherent dependency on other human beings for guidance and support. By virtue of this reality, the human being must be led from birth to the grave.

Rastas must come to grip with this indispensable reality and identify InI leading personalities; mandate them and hold them responsible and accountable. Please note that all Ras Tafari groups that have had distinct social, economic, political and organizational impact, have enjoyed visible and mandated leadership.

[2] Collective welfare

There are a number of needed and noble developmental ideas being tabled or pursued, ie. Welfare Fund, Global Secretariat. etc. Ras Tafari family at present is a disorganized population. InI can be likened to tons of disconnected chain links. InI cannot do any thing for Ras Tafari collective welfare without firstly organizing the Ras Tafari critical mass. Organizing the masses of Ras Tafari will provide an empowered constituency capable of mandating accountable, collective leadership and readily identifiable material and creative resources. Without an organized, critical mass constituting a legitimate constituency, to whom are InI answerable?

The Nyah Binghi vibe is the global spiritual connectivity of the Ras Tafari family. It presently provides the only practical global basis for InI mass organizing. The priority challenge to InI leading personalities is to mobilize and organize the Nyah Binghi Order. Again I remind Ingels. The Nyah Binghi Order is not the exclusive property of the Jamaican Elders. In order to effectively energize the process of InI mass organizing, I strongly suggest that InI convene an international Nyah Binghi conference in Jamaica for some time in 2007.

[3] Apocalyptic mentality

There are those Ingels who are soulfully convinced that what is considered as the western hemisphere geographically and civilizationally, will be obliterated within a certain calendared time frame. This conviction is generally based on their interpretation of certain bible passages. Believing that those passages are unrepentable prophesies, they have become prophets of doom. To those Ingels I say, please be reminded that generations come and generations go but the Earth abides forever.

Annihilating nuclear catastrophe on continental Europe or America will naturally devastate life in Africa. No continent is safe from a nuclear holocaust. Let's not forget the anxiety over the two seven clash and millennium 2000. I suggest that the Ethiopian millennium will come and go and global life and societies will continue for millennia. InI can give a time line for repatriation only when InI control the mechanisms that will effect it. I further suggest that the important thing to do is to put Ingels' energies into organizing the Ras Tafari masses and create the mechanisms to materialize repatriation.

[4] Racial and gender discrimination

Ras Tafari is iniversial intellectual and creative life. The living I, male and female are Ras Tafari. This fundamental is common to all races. InI must permanently stop the promotion of race, colour and gender discrimination. InI cannot afford the bitter luxury of hate and vengeance. Neither can InI be suicidal with the poison of superiority complexes.

[5] Code of conduct

Practically speaking, InI code of conduct, are the principles of international morality, truth and right, peace and love equality and justice and respect and cooperation. No individual or cultic group of individuals from Jamaica or elsewhere can formulate and impose irrelevant code of conduct or constitution and impose it on the international Ras Tafari family. Any code of conduct or constitution to be adhered to by InI international family must evolve out of a process of constructive consultation of InI global family. Ingelic I, all I am asking in Haile Sellassie I love is, please, let's get practical.
