Ras D.C. passes forward - original message sent 25th March 

Hail members of the EWF and RasTafarI Community..

I regret to inform you that Ras D.C. otherwise known as Derek Clark has passed away yesterday evening March 24th at his home in Shashemane between the hour of 6:00 and 7:00pm.

Apparently he was unwell for the last 2-3 days with flue symptoms. His immediate family in England have been notified and his Brother & Sister are expected shortly. Ras D.C's body has been brought to Addis overnight & he is now at Hyatt Hospital awaiting the arrival of his immediate family.

On behalf of the Federation in Ethiopia may InI express our deep sorrow and shock at this time and InI prayers goes out to all Ras D.C's loved ones at home and abroad. He will be surely missed as his presence here in Ethiopia was a big strength to the Federation.

May His Soul Rest in Peace.

Sad situation make we learn more about ourselves, then we must be guided by the holy spirit.

On behalf of the E.W.F Inc. Negusa Negast Local 3, London, Iand I express our condolences to family and true friends concerning the passing of our sensible brother and outstanding member, educator, advocator, defender of the right and of Ethiopia, peace maker, fully committed to the organ, who will be remembered within the community in the UK and abroad.

The Family and delegation will arrive in Addis Ababa on Thursday Morning, 27th around 8:00am, as we're keeping in touch for the best.
