Greetings and love.

I have begun analyzing the proposed Rastafari Code of Conduct.

However, before I make any kind of input, I have a few questions before I submit my proposal.

  1. How does the code of conduct affect the multi-national, multi- ethnic aspects of Rastafari? –
Are we going to address this issue based on His Majesty’s sound to end and abhor racial discrimination wherever it is found? With the recent unfolding of ethnic mudslinging coming out of the SA “conference” if this reasoning is based upon racial purity, then I am afraid I will have to withdraw and so would a lot of “African Americans and West Indians” who have been “tainted” with White blood or other ethnic groups.
  2. Is this reasoning going to include ones across the board, regardless of house or gender?
  3. Is this reasoning a public forum?
  4. Are the ones who will sit on this committee capable and committed?
  5. Is this reasoning going to be endorsed by all mansions and organizations?

These are a few of I concerns, in order for the proposed “code of conduct” to have any kind of serious outcome, it MUST be endorsed, and supported by every Rasta across the globe. Notifications must be sent out to as many ones as possible, to make them aware that this reasoning is taking place, and that it will affect their lives when it is finalized.

This exercise in its finality will be the criteria by which one adheres to the tenets of the faith.

So let us not play.

Re; the Code of Conduct
Question
(1) How does the code of conduct affect the multi-ethnic aspect of Rastafari?
Answer
Each Rastafari , multi-ethnic or multi-national must abide by the teaching of Haile Selassie I. Therefore concerning Religion and Racial Discrimination, Haile Selassie I states the following

“Above all, Ethiopia is dedicated to the principle of equality of all men irrespective of differences of race, colour or creed
As we do not practice or permit discrimination within our nation so we oppose it wherever it is found.
As we guarantee to each the right to worship as he chooses, we denounce the policy which sets man against man on the issue of religion.
As we extend the hand of universal brotherhood to all ,without regard to race or colour, so we condemn any social and political order that
distinguishes among Gods children on this most specious of grounds “

Therefore the Rastafari Code of conduct will reemphasize that discrimination any guise will not be tolerated
1(b)
Answer Yes we are going to address the code of conduct based on the above words of His Majesty
Also the Rastafari creed speaks of righteousness and justice and love
The Creed states

“O Haile Selassie I of Ithiopia .InI own Ivine Majesty
Thy Irits trod into InI hearts to dwell
Help InI to forgive that InI must be forgiven

Teach InI love and loyalty as it is in Mount Zion
Endow InI with wise mind, knowledge and Iverstanding to do thy will.”

Question (2)
Is this reasoning going to include ones across the board, regardless of house or gender?
Answer- Yes
Question (3)
Is this reasoning a public forum?
Answer –Yes
Question (4)
Are ones who sit on the committee capable and committed?
Answer –yes however others can be added
Question (5)
Is this reasoning going to be endorsed by all mansions and organizations?
Answer –Yes
It is very important that the code is circulated to all mansions and organizations for their participation and final approval
Solutions must be in place to ensure that this is done as soon as possible
Where there are disagreements, acceptable points must be worked out to satisfy those affected
This would then enable the Global Rastafari family to realize the long awaited Inity

May Haile Selassie I and Empress Menen bless all our endeavors

Give Izes and thanks giving
Ras Flako

Greetings to ones and ones in the name of his Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I First, and Empress Menen.

I tune into Rastaites Site often so that I am up-to-date on up and coming events to do with Rastafarian Globally.

What has prompted I to send this e-mail, is The Recommended Rastafari Code of Conduct, which I read with great interest.

As a Rasta Queen, I would like to put forward a questions concerning the Recommended Rastafari Code of Conduct as follows:-

What steps will be taken to those Rases, being man or woman, who does not uphold the Code of Conduct to the fulness?

I am of the opinion that when implementing The Recommended Rastafari Code of Conduct that a system should also be in placed to call into questioning those ones who does not uphold the Rastafari Code of Conduct.

I am also of the opinion that all Houses or Mansions Globally, should choose 10 Rases (man and woman) who will be known amount the Rasta Community as the Justice Of Righteousness (JOR) of the highest calibre, capable of doing the work without partiality. The Rasta Community should have an input in electing the JOR.

Over the years I have seen amongst Rasta a lot of injustice being inflicted, i.e. jealousy, sabotage, carnal mind, vindictiveness, power struggle for leadership, division of families and much more. Unless these things are addressed and dealt with it will be hard for I&I as a nation of Rastafari people to move forward and accomplished greater things.

Peace and Love to I&I
Jah Rastafari
Sister Tashia
