Ethiopian New Year Celebration

The Rejuvination event took place in a school in South London. The event focused on alternative therapies and featured workshops on a variety of subjects. These included Acupuncture, Colour Therapy, Reflexology, Reiki, Afrikaan Yoga, Holistic Massage Therapy, Nutrition, Natural Hair Care & Healing Body Energetic. There was a talk on Birth Partners in the main hall after lunch followed by the afternoon workshop sessions. To finish off the day Dr Herukhuti gave an inspiring talk on Afrika & Afrikaans in the 21st Century accompanied by the heartbeat of the Nyahbinghi drums played by The Buru Drummers. This was followed by various poets including Prophetess. There are plans for another event next year.
