Greetings Bredrin and Sistren,
InI give thanks for the heartfelt support from ones and ones around
the globe for Rastafari Ancients. In cooperation with IDOR, Iniversal
Development of Ras Tafari, InI will be sending a strength to
Repatriated Elders in Ethiopia. This strength will be in support of
IDOR's program, the Elders Medical Emergency Initiative in Shashamane,
ET. Ras Wayne is an international representative for IDOR as well as
an esteemed Advisor for the Word Sound Power Collective. InI will be
working directly with him and the community liason in Shashamane to
ensure the safe transfer and distribution of the fund to the following
Elders:
Elder Reedy (Age - mid seventies) He is also among the
earliest ones to repatriate to Ethiopia (36 years)
Priest Isiah (Age - Mid Seventies) He builds drums, does carpentry
when work is available and some subsistence farming. Priest Isiah is
also a survivor of the 1963 Coral Gardens persecutions of Ras Tafari
Mama Wollete (Age - early seventies) Cares for Ethiopian orphans
Mama Babi I (Age - early seventy) Nyah Binghi Matriach and Queen
Mother to All who visit Shashemene.
Brother Zion (Age - Mid seventies) one of the earliest
repatriates on the land Grant (35 years+)
Brother Rodney (Age - sixty +) One of the earliest repatriates to the
land grant.
Elder Rupee (Age late Seventies) Nyah Binghi Elder
Congo Negus (Age - mid nineties) Nyah Binghi warrior in Bahir Dar.
Each of these elders have made enormous contributions to the Rastafari
movement as a whole as well as the community in Shashamane, Et. These
great Ancients itinue to be an inspiration as they have all heeded the
call, REPATRIATION IS A MUST! Give thanks!
