“One more sad news. Professor Richard Pankhurst transitioned this morning in his house in Addis Ababa. An amazing man, a faithful dedication to the Ethiopian cause, and a generous soul. Blessed be he and wife Rita.” Prof Richard was of course the son of Silvia Pankhurst who herself passed in Addis, 1960 and named by His Majesty as an “honorary Ethiopian”
