    8.00 pm - 12.00@Upstairs at the Ritzy Brixton Oval, Brixton SW2 1JG

On Thursday 21 June, Dub Me Always is pleased to present another sound system special when guest selector/music producer Neville King joins host DJ David Katz for a night of original ska, rock steady and roots reggae.

Born in St James, Jamaica, King’s sound system had long residencies in Brixton, Tooting, Streatham and Peckham during the 1970s. A mentor to David Rodigan, Levi Roots and  Blacker Dread, King launched his own label in London in 1976, issuing prime material by Prince Lincoln and Jacob Miller, as well as his own lover’s rock productions. Expect rare vinyl classics and original dub plates!
