Dub Me Always | CJ Don & Angus Taylor

8pm-midnightUpstairs at the Ritzy, Brixton Road Brixton, London SW2 1JG

On Wednesday 12 June, Dub Me Always is pleased to present another night of original reggae vinyl, when CJ Don the “Rubadub Souljah” and Angus Taylor join host DJ David Katz on the decks, spinning roots reggae and foundation dancehall.

A longstanding presenter on south London’s community station Power Jam 92FM during the 1990s and beyond, CJ Don has always been a stylish connoisseur of roots reggae and rubadub music. Part of Tooting’s Music Specialist shop, over the years CJ has supported a range of reggae stalwarts on live performances, including Bunny Wailer, Yami Bolo, Jah9 and Anthony B.

Presenter of the Good Time Rock reggae show on VDub Radio and former chief editor of United Reggae, Angus Taylor is the UK correspondent for Reggaeville and a regular contributor to Riddim; Taylor has also played at Glastonbury, Moogfest and the Wilkswood Reggae Festival, among other venues. Expect rare roots reggae and exclusive dubplates delivered in style.
