On Wednesday 22nd July Dr Robbie Shilliam delivered a researched paper on the Ethio-Italian conflict that precipitated World War II. The event was hosted at SOAS by the Anglo Ethiopian Society, ‘descendants’ of the Friends of Abyssinia who had supported His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I during His exile in Britain.
