Annual Report from Rasta Ites online store.
This year Rasta Ites received £28.75 from the Amazon UK in July. InI received nothing this last quarter as I&I only raised £4.78. On the USA side I&I still have not earned enough to receive a payment from them although the total has risen from $59.49 in last years report to $79.35 at present…. so I&I getting there J They pay out at $100….
The CDBaby link that I added last year has done better and to date has raised $31 of which Rasta Ites have received $29. Give thanks and praise, unfortunately they always send I a cheque and it is useless to I in the UK. Still I sistren in the States can deal with that, and when I cross the pond next, I can collect the money….. CDBaby sell music direct from the musicians, thereby cutting out the middle man which means that the artists get more money from each sale and, of course, if you enter their site through any of the links at Rasta Ites, $1 is raised for every CD sold.
All monies raised from April this year are going to the Empress Menen Foundation Elders Fund. I have just written them out a cheque for £54.37 earned as follows

I&I when purchasing items and use the links onsite. Still do not buy
something just to donate money, it is much better to send donations straight to
the Empress Menen Foundation or some other worthy cause.
A decision has yet to be reached as to whether future monies will go to the EMF
or another Rastafari charity so that everyone gets some benefit. Input would be
appreciloved please contact Rasta Ites with any
suggestions. Ideas include the Nurses for Israel or the JRDC school in
Shashamane………. I will publish I &I decision in the next few strong (weeks).
