The opening ceremony took place on Sunday 12th October from 5.00pm at the Multi-Purpose Cultural Center in St. Johns.
The present CRO started as the Eastern Caribbean Rastafari Working Committee (ECRWC) in July 1997, at the International Rastafari Conference held in St. Croix, USVI.
The Illa Gathering of the Indigenous Ras Tafari Repatriation Presidential Anniversary, on October 27, 2013 at the U.W.I Social Science Lecture Theatre Mona Campus Jamaica, was an advance momentous, historic milestone for the Ras Tafari Movement in Jamaica and the Global Ras Tafari Family.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Rastafari the Law & Human Rights” is being presented also to get a better understanding of Rastafari movement in relationship to the world at large and how we can collectively work together as a human race.
