The Hotel Djigui in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire was the venue for the 1st Rastafari Continental Council (RCC) conference of member countries of the Economic Community of West African States.
The struggle to gain sovereign rights over our own continent developed into bitter confrontations.
Conference was beautiful. Ras Boanerges & Bongo Time, who was the high priest, everyone was there. Ras Historian wanted to be Secretary and this was supported in Kingston. People from Montego Bay objected. Church street yard set up by Ras Historian who was more international. The Pan African mind set wanted to Istablish a secretariat and trade.

Now, when could a European Inity Conference take place, and who should, and could organize it?
The theme of this year’s conference is “Rastafari the Law & Human Rights” is being presented also to get a better understanding of Rastafari movement in relationship to the world at large and how we can collectively work together as a human race.
