The Rastafari community, led by EWF Inc Local #3 Negusa Negast London are creating a sacred garden on the site of Sidetegnaw Medhane Alem Chapel at Fairfield House in Bath, Somerset, UK

Over 1700 people from around the world visited Fairfield House last year to celebrate the life and legacy of HIM Emperor Haile Selassie I.

On May 25th 2013 / Ginbot 17 2005 the Rastafari Council of Great Britain held an event in Fairfield House, Bath. This is the place where His Imperial Majesty Qedamawi Haile Selassie resided during the Italian invasion of Ethiopia 1936 – 1941.

The future of the house is to set up a trust to restore it and make it into a community hub. It was shared that the ground is concentrated and this enables it to be use as a venue for the services which is current done by the Rastafarian and Ethiopian gatherings.
