The All Africa Rastafari Gathering 2018 will be held in Shashamane Ethiopia from the 1-11 of November.
Attending delegates exceeded expected numbers, totaling in advance of 100 participants from global constituencies of Rastafari.
We hereby adopt this declaration and commit ourselves as Rastafari representatives to ensure that the examples of Haile Selassie I and Empress Menen, infused with the universal principle of Ubuntu, be reflected in all our policies, plans, programs and trading arrangements.
The vision of the gathering is to showcase Shashemene to visiting Rastafari delegates to support repatriation and promote intra-trade initiatives in Africa.
The Gathering is now scheduled for November 1-7, 2017
The Illa Gathering of the Indigenous Ras Tafari Repatriation Presidential Anniversary, on October 27, 2013 at the U.W.I Social Science Lecture Theatre Mona Campus Jamaica, was an advance momentous, historic milestone for the Ras Tafari Movement in Jamaica and the Global Ras Tafari Family.
Identifying the problems plaguing Ras Tafari houses at the present time is an exercise which I think has been skillfully done by all Ras Tafari sons and daughters.
This unified effort is a reflection of the spirit of co-operation exemplified by the Jamaican Rastafarian Community in Shashemane, Ethiopia.
The purpose of this news conference was to gather many of Jamaica’s moral leaders together to ask the Jamaican people to join them this year making Bob Marley’s songs a reality by each person exercising as much forgiveness in their personal relationships as they are presently able
